What’s inside

The Modern Minimal Resume Template is a clean, one-page, single-column resume built for people who want their experience to do the talking. A crisp name block, a thin emerald (#0B5D46) rule and spaced small-caps section headings give it a modern look without distracting from your content. The download includes:

One-page resume as an editable Word document (.docx) in US Letter
The same resume as an editable .docx in A4
PDF previews in both sizes, so you can see exactly how it should look
A README with font links, step-by-step editing tips and the license terms

The template comes filled with realistic sample content for a fictional product designer, “Alex Morgan”, so you can see how a profile, achievement-focused bullets, projects, education, skills and certifications fit on one page. No lorem ipsum: just replace the text with your own.

Formats & sizes

Microsoft Word .docx files in US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) and A4 (210 × 297 mm), plus PDF previews. The design uses the free Google Font Lato (download link in the README). If Lato is not installed, Word falls back to a default font and the layout still works, though spacing may shift slightly.

How to edit

Open the file for your paper size in Word 2016 or newer, Word for Microsoft 365, Google Docs or LibreOffice, then click any text and type. Everything sits in the main body of the document as real text, with no text boxes, tables or content hidden in headers, so applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read it. Formatting is handled by real Word styles: Heading 1 for section titles, Heading 2 for job titles, a Job Meta style for company details and the built-in List Bullet style for achievements. Dates line up on the right with a tab stop. Changing the accent color takes one edit to each style. When you are done, save as PDF and send.

Who it’s for

Mid-level and senior professionals with three to fifteen years of experience in design, tech, marketing, operations, healthcare or any field where a clear, readable resume matters more than graphics. It also suits career changers who want a neutral, credible layout. If you are a recent graduate with less experience, our Graduate One-Page Resume Template puts education first instead. This is a digital download; nothing is shipped, and the template does not include writing or review services.
